The whole foot valve is made of Grade 304 stainless steel and is free of the concern of rusting or corrosion. The valve disc is made of stainless steel, enveloped by EPDM rubber to prevent against fall-off. The O-shape at the valve base makes outstanding air tightness possible. The valve disc is supported by bearings at the top and the bottom and hence is steady upon opening and closing with minimal friction. It helps extend the life span. The inlet strainer has a free area greater than the pipe diameter. The valve has a large opening angle and low resistance to water flow. A disc release bar is attached for the maintained purpose.
